Churchill Cleaning Services provides an ‘on site’ dry or wet cleaning service for curtains and blinds that will save you all the hassle of removing the curtains, drapes or blinds and taking to the cleaners and having the hassle of re erecting them back on the rails. Dry cleaning curtains and blinds on site are one of the most effective ways to clean accumulated dust, dirt and allergens.

We utilize a high-powered and modern dry solvent extraction cleaning machine to remove the dust and soil. The cleaning process penetrates deep into the fabric removing stubborn dirt, odors and dust, leaving your curtains and blinds completely restored, revitalized and smelling clean and fresh. Finally the technician will b re-dress your window dressings back into their original positions. The whole process is uncomplicated, stress-free and leaves no mess or fumes. We use chemicals that are non-toxic and eco-friendly. Cleaning of the curtains is carried out whilst hanging on the rails. Our team, have been trained to use the Genie Ladder.

Overview of the Curtain Cleaning Process

Curtains are effective air-filters, trapping airborne dust, odor, hair, smoke and dead skin particles creating the perfect habitat for dust mites, which can cause a wide range of allergic reactions, including eczema, dermatitis, asthma, dry cough, hay fever and sinusitis. Smoke and nicotine also attack curtain fibers. It is recommended to dry clean the curtains periodically to protect and prolong its life’s use.

On-Site Curtain Dry Cleaning Process:

The following procedure will be followed for dry cleaning the curtains:

1. Review the pre-existing condition of your curtains including spots and stains if there are any.
2. Dry vacuum all areas to ensure loose soil and dusts are removed.
3. Conduct spotting as required.
4. Dry clean the curtains using high quality solution imported from the UK to deep clean, disinfect and remove unpleasant smell.

On-Site Curtain Wet Cleaning Process:

The following procedure will be followed for wet cleaning the curtains:

1. We would conduct a color test to ensure that no color bleeding will occur.
2. Thoroughly vacuum all areas to ensure loose soil is removed.
3. Spot clean as necessary.
4. Apply a pre-loosening cleaning agent and thoroughly rinse the curtains.
5. Allow dwell time and thoroughly rinse through the fabric.
6. Allot about 45 minutes to an hour drying time per curtain.

Note: Spotting of curtains are included only if this will not cause any permanent damage to the fabric of the curtain e.g. shrinkage, bleaching, etc.

We use a powerful specially engineered mattress cleaning equipment which generates high frequency waves that pulverizes and loosens dust, dirt and excrement in the mattress. These are then eliminated with a high power vacuum with a special HEPA filter which traps 99.97%of everything it collects. It also has high UVC radiation which acts as the sterilizer that kills the bacteria, viruses, spores and dust mites. Our team will then spray a non-chemical disinfectant on the mattress. This has been proven safe for humans as well as the environment and is compatible for all types of mattresses. We will clean and sanitize both sides of the bed. The entire process will last for 20 to 30 minutes and is done on site whilst the mattress is on the bed. The mattress can be used immediately after the treatment. If there are any spots and stains on the mattress, we will use the hot water extraction process in addition to the dry cleaning process mentioned below. We will use a pre-spray and spot lifter to help remove the spots and stains. Then we will use the hot water extraction process to remove the spots and stains. This would mean that the mattress needs to be left to dry for 18 to 20 hours.

Mattress Cleaning Specifications

The Mattress Cleaning Equipment that we use has been certified by allergists from European Centre for Allergy Research Foundation (ECARF) and bears the ECARF seal.

The specialized disinfectant we spray on the mattresses have the following special characteristics:

Overview of Carpet Cleaning Process

Hot Water Extraction (Thorough Vacuuming and Pile Lifting)  Studies have shown that eighty per cent (80%) of the soil on carpets is dry soil (sand, grit, food, etc.) and can be removed successfully through Mechanical Pile Lifting and thorough vacuuming. This procedure removes the grit and soil that abrades the fibers and prematurely destroys your carpet. In addition to removing the tracked-in soil, pile lifting opens the pile and stands the yarns up so that hot water extraction cleaning can remove the maximum amount of soil.

Hot Water Extraction Process

After the carpets have been pile lifted and vacuumed, our technicians will conduct color testing to ensure the compatibility of the cleaning method that we would use and to guarantee that there will be no color bleeding or shrinkage to your carpet. We also apply pre-conditioner to loosen and suspend the soil for easy removal. For both deep cleaning and superior results on soiled carpets we use Hot Water Extraction (sometimes called “Corrective” or “Restorative” cleaning). Our process gently but thoroughly cleans the entire carpet fiber whilst making sure that there is no damage to the carpet backing or underlay. The method we use make the carpets dry faster and has very little residue from our cleaning solutions thus, the carpets stay fresh and clean longer.

We offer a highly convenient service with all our cleaning carried out on-site at our client’s premises thereby saving on transport time and costs.

Step 1: Fabric Inspection

First the upholstery / carpet / mattress or curtain is checked for the fabric type and quality. This is to ensure that it’s safe to steam clean without damaging the fabric.

Measurement of the curtain / carpet is taken before checking for any damage on the fabric that require repair. Stains will be marked for special attention during the steaming process.

Step 2: Dust Cleaning

Dust cleaning is the step where our team will thoroughly vacuum the dust and dirt that settle on the upholstery / carpet / mattress or curtains.

This process is done with expertise ensuring no damage is done to the material on the fabric.

Step 3: Steam Cleaning Process

The hanging curtains are treated with steam along with fabric safe detergent to kill the germs and bacteria.

Spots and stains are given special attention and remove with care. This process is repeated until stains are cleared away.

Note; Steam cleaning cannot guarantee to remove certain stains, but it thoroughly cleans and kills 99.9% of bacteria and other micro-organism.

For the final touch, curtains are sanitized and deodorized to make them smell good and free from germs.

Step 4: Drying of the fabric

As the complete process of steam cleaning is done, they are left like that for drying completely.

Survey

This step is the most important step in the upholstery cleaning process. It allows us to gain the information required to thoroughly and professionally clean an item as we examine the construction, fibre-type, backing materials and fillers. All of these factors combine to determine the best method for cleaning an upholstered item and the correct chemicals to get the very best results possible.

Dry Soil Removal

We commence our cleaning process by removing the vast majority of sand, dust and dry soil using an industrial vacuum cleaner. We achieve this by covering the entire item at least four times in perpendicular directions (as recommended by the National Carpet Cleaners Association). This method employs a turbine driven hand tool that vibrates the surface of the upholstery to release any dust, sand or grit from under the surface of the face fabric. This tool also efficiently removes pet hair and any solid material bound to the face fabric.

Spots and Stains

We then pre-treat and work on all the areas of staining with the appropriate chemical agents to remove spots and stains.

Pre-spray and Agitation

We move on to treat the entire upholstery item with the appropriate cleaning agent. This is allowed to penetrate the face fabric and removes any grease or oils adhered to the fibers. At the same time, any remaining soil and dust is transferred to the cleaning solution ready for extraction in the following steps. The cleaning solution is carefully worked into the fabric, ensuring the most amount of dirt possible is released and subsequently removed.

Extraction

The upholstery is then extracted with a powerful machine. The machines we employ use twin vacuum motors to remove the vast majority of water and ensure minimal drying times. Only a very small amount of residue is left on the surface of the fibre to ensure an enduring cleanliness of your upholstery. The extraction of upholstery is achieved using a specially designed hand tool that allows maximum suction while employing minimal amounts of water. This ensures our client’s upholstery is dry as quickly as possible.

We provide polishing, grinding and servicing for Marble, Limestone, Sandstone and General Floor Tiles with special Floor Polishing methods that levels the floor surface and brings out the color, clarity, and sheen. Floor polishing gives semi-shining or shining effect to the floor. Crystallization is a method for marble or limestone floor finishing. It brings "mirror like" shine by chemical reaction on the surface of marble. Crystallization also creates micro film on the surface of marble, which is more solid and durable and helps to preserve the color and the brightness of the marble. Crystallization is a very good method for regular stone maintenance.

Pre-Inspection

Technicians will make note of all challenging areas and set your expectations as well as come up with a solution for each area.

Area Preparation

Technicians will prepare the areas surrounding the flooring, making sure not to disturb or damage any carpeted or hardwood floors. At this point all the dirt that will be cleaned under the furniture is removed.

Dry soil removal

Technicians thoroughly sweep and vacuum the entire area, maximizing the results we obtain. As in any cleaning process, dry soil removal is the most important.

Soil Suspension

We use the highest quality products. The cleaning agent sprayed over the entire surface of your tile is the most scientifically advanced tile cleaner in the market.

Cleaning

Complex and difficult areas are agitated manually with a brush and for really challenging heavily used areas. A mechanical rotating brush is employed. The entire floor is then cleaned using a state of the art self contained pressure cleaning system from the US Products.

Stripping

Diamond stones are used to strip the floor and remove all grout and stains.

Rinsing

A rinse solution is pumped through the machine during cleaning, sanitizing and balancing the pH of your floor at 7.

Speed Drying

High velocity air movers are placed to speed dry the floor, allowing you to use the area almost immediately.

Post-inspection

Technicians will initiate a walk through and go over results before leaving. For high gloss finish we are using progressively higher grit of industrial diamond pads for removing scratches from the previous pads and then we do either buffing or crystallization procedure (depending of desired result) for creating final gloss.

Crystallization Features:

In the process of marble or terrazzo crystallization the heat of friction helps to give to the surface more shine. Crystallization process will never make a build up on surfaces, like waxing. Crystallization also helps to create a slip-resistant surface. Crystallization is result of the chemical reaction on the surface of the stone.

The crystallization process provides a high gloss finish on the marble / terrazzo surface.

Overview of the AC cleaning process

Bacteria and mould spores are only able to grow where nutrients are provided along with moisture and oxygen, the nutrients are provided from dirt, dust and debris inside of the air ducting which in all probability has never been cleaned since it was installed. Dirty A/C systems contribute very heavily to a variety of allergy related problems including frequent coughs and colds, post operational infections, asthma, skin rash, and various other allergy and allergy related illnesses.

To eliminate the high-risk area of Infection and allergens the system is required to be properly cleaned and sanitized regularly. In order to clean the ducts and prevent contamination of occupied spaces in the process. We use a HEPA filtered vacuum unit to create negative pressure in the duct System, or a vacuum unit that is placed outside the occupied space.

We use a variety of tools to agitate and loosen the dust, which is then drawn into the vacuum unit and contained within. HEPA filtration is 99.97% at 0.3 micron size. A robotic camera may be used for inspection and or cleaning. We clean all the A/C supply and return ducts, diffusers, dampers, coils only if they are easily accessible and any other installed components. It has been our experience that most duct systems have little or no access and our procedure includes installing access panels or access doors to gain access. On occasions we find acoustic insulation is damaged or has degraded through age.

We will advise you if we find this is the case. Please note repair of such damage is not included in this quotation. In case you desire that the repairs be to be done by us, we will make separate quote. Upon completion we will issue you a Cleaning Certificate and an after service report that is normally ready in approximately 10 working days.

The Cleaning Certificate is valid for 12 months after which time we can re-inspect your system free of charge for you. These reports will be email to you.

Water hygiene is so often taken for granted. Domestic, Commercial and industrial water systems are fed from dedicated water storage tanks that in turn are fed from local water supply systems. If not inspected and maintained periodically, these water storage tanks can be a breeding ground for bacteria, mould, fungi, legionella, E coli etc. Hence the Dubai Municipality has made it mandatory that, landlords or whoever occupies the building should ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of water tanks and all pipeline networks that distribute water throughout the building. Overview of the water tank cleaning process

We recommend that you turn off the incoming water supply in sufficient time prior to our arrival depending upon the use to minimize water wastage. Our scope of work will include emptying the balance water that is not emptied by you and we will chemically clean the tanks. During the time of cleaning the water supply will be interrupted. Upon completion Churchill will issue a Cleaning and disinfection certificate and an After service report which will contain photographs of before and after cleaning. We will also highlight any problem areas and advice of any defects requiring immediate attention. The report is normally ready within 7 working days. We carry out all works strictly in accordance with the highest safety standard. All our technicians are trained in all aspects of safety to ensure that accidents do not occur and they are well supervised to ensure that the operations run smoothly.
