MATTRESS CLEANING
The mattress is, without a doubt, the dirtiest object we have close contact with everyday. We spend one third of our lives sleeping on mattresses that are soiled and as such, potentially dangerous to our health. This applies equally to a mattress that is only a few months old as it does to a mattress several years old.
Mattresses contain house dust mites (about 2 million in a mattress) and the excrements of dust mites contains allergen. With every movement of the body in bed this mix of house dust mites, their excrements, allergen and dust gets into our mouth, eyes, nose. This will cause allergy, itching, cough and other side effects such as inflammation of the mucous membrane and bronchitis.
It is incorrect to believe that bed sheets will protect against soil and dust mites. A bed sheet protects against these particles about as much as fishing net would protect against sand.
The solution
Hygiene and allergy problems can only be solved by eliminating the cause. Churchill uses a scientifically proven system which has been used in homes, hospitals and hotels over the years. Churchill utilize a 3-step cleaning process to ensure the allergen level is reduced to normal. The allergen testing and cleaning takes place on-site and the mattress remains on the bed during the entire cleaning process. The cleaning process takes no longer than 20 to 30 minutes and the bed can be used immediately after the cleaning is done.
Step 1:
Our HP cleaning head system generates high frequency waves which pulsate and loosen particles of dust, dirt and excrement in the mattress. These are then eliminated with a high power vacuum with a special HEPA filter which traps 99.97 per cent of everything it collects.
Step 2:
We use UVC Radiation Sterilising Unit to sterilise the mattress killing bacteria, viruses and spores. The efficacy of this chemical free disinfecting method is proven in the medical field.
Stage 3:
We spray the surface of the mattress with a specially formulated Mattress Hygiene Spray. The spray is harmless to humans and animals and is based on several natural ingredients. It has antibacterial and insect repellent property.

AIR CONDITIONING DUCT CLEANING
Your home's Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) is important, and having a clean, properly functioning ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system is vital to maintaining a clean, healthy and comfortable living environment. In addition, a newly cleaned air duct system runs more efficiently than a dirty one, resulting in lower utility bills and a cleaner, less dusty home.
Dust, dirt, pollen, animal dander and other airborne contaminants are pulled into your HVAC system every time you switch it on. Over time, they build up inside your ductwork, making your air duct system a breeding ground for bacteria, fungus, mildew and other microbes, which are then re-circulated through your home, impacting the health and comfort of your family.
Those who suffer from allergies, asthma or other respiratory problems, especially children and the elderly, are vulnerable to the effects of indoor air pollution. As a result, most health experts agree on the health benefits of proper, and regular, aid duct cleaning.
Churchill's professionally trained technicians have the training and experience to remove harmful contaminants from your air ducts. Our technologically advanced duct cleaning machines
and extracting systems pulls air duct pollutants into a contained filtration system which have high
efficacy level in capturing fine debris.

* Unknown Stains
Scrape up or blot surplus spillage. Use a dry cleaning solvent followed by clean warm water. Blot dry. If further treatment is needed, use either Detergent or Detergent and Vinegar Solution. Blot dry. See below for final rinse procedure.
For spot and stain removal you will need the four basic solutions listed below:
* Dry cleaning Solution - surgical spirit.
* Detergent Solution - One teaspoonful of gentle detergent for washing woolens to 0.75 liters (a half pint) of warm water.
* Detergent and Vinegar Solution - Add one tablespoon of white (not malt) vinegar to the Detergent solution.
* Ammonia Solution - One teaspoonful of branded household ammonia (available from hardware stores) to one cup of warm water.
Final Rinse Procedure
This rinse procedure is applicable to all the above methods of spot and stain removal. Simply mix one part white vinegar and four parts water. Pour mixture into spray bottle and spay over the stained area. Blot dampened area (do not rub) to remove excess moisture. Spread white kitchen towel (stacked 6-8 sheets deep) over the affected area and place a weight, such as a book, directly on top. This will help the moisture residue to soak into the towels. Leave overnight and repeat if necessary.
Here are important spot removal tips to keep in mind:
* When a spot or stain occurs, act quickly! The longer it remains on the fabric, the harder it is to get out!
* Use clean white towels and blot the stain from the outer edge of the stain inward.
* Apply the appropriate spot remover as directed for each type of stain (see below).
* Always work toward the centre of the spot.
* Repeat steps if necessary, and always blot between steps with a clean white towel.
* Always do a spot removal test on a portion of fabric that is normally not visible.
* Never use bleach!
